General Towing & Transport Services
Pinmarx provides coordinated dealer towing and transport services for local, regional, and national companies, including municipalities, school districts, and state agencies. With our diverse team of towing and transport dealers, we offer various services to our customers. Our towing and transport capabilities include a wide array of benefits and options that uniquely complements our service providers. Our towing & transport providers understand that in the service industry, quality and safety comes first. They also recognize that they are considered an emergency-based business in many cases where timely service is necessary to resolve a breakdown or dangerous situation.
Heavy-Duty Towing & Transport Services
Because we operate a towing and transport service provider network, having large fleets of heavy-duty tow trucks in several markets allows our group to handle many breakdowns simultaneously. This translates into getting company trucks, buses, or rigs to an authorized Pinmarx service center or vendor very quickly. The heavy-duty trucks are generally designed to handle the heaviest of trucks on the road today and are equipped with under-reach and wheel lift capabilities that allow for damage-free towing. Dealers that provide low-bed or tractor-trailer services also allow for the transport of heavy equipment, specialty equipment, forklifts, scissor lifts, and sometimes various fleet vehicle units transported on a single load.
Because our service providers have new equipment and state-of-the-art training & techniques, they are generally considered leaders in the towing and transport industry in the region they operate. The heavy-duty recoveries can include roll-overs, winch-outs, high-centers, accidents, snow, mud & hillside services when there is bad weather. The heavy-duty tow trucks and transport equipment can also provide services on specialized transport vehicles, buses, roof delivery units, cement trucks, 5th wheel units, tankers, semi-trucks, bobtails, straight-trucks, and many other types of assets.
Medium Duty Towing Services
The service providers that operate medium-duty tow trucks are exceptionally flexible in what they can tow and where they can operate. Many of these towing jobs don’t require large three-axle rigs, but our customer base needs medium-duty towing power in some cases. The medium-duty trucks are by far the most versatile tow trucks on the road today within the Pinmarx network. They can tow units as small as light-duty pick-ups and forklifts to units as large as bobtail delivery vehicles.
Generally, each medium-duty tow truck is equipped with a modern wheel system, which eliminates all contact with fleet vehicles except for the rims’ rubber tires. This allows our service providers to retrieve un-operable units in the most confining situations or locations. The medium size tow trucks allow for superior maneuvering with more excellent towing and recovery power than commonly used smaller tow trucks in the passenger vehicle markets. The medium-duty tow trucks are ideal for 1-ton vehicles, step-vans, food delivery units, box-trucks, utility-trucks, cut-away vans, small buses, shuttles, and many more.
Flatbed Tow Trucks
Flatbed tow trucks are designed for towing everything from lightweight fleet vehicles to small pick-up trucks and equipment. Many fleet customers and equipment companies prefer our dealers because they maintain the expertise, knowledge, state-of-the-art equipment, and gentle touch that has allowed our program to capture numerous national, regional & local accounts. Our service providers generally have several flatbed tow trucks that are specially built with lower profile designs that decrease their loading angle and allow for effortless maneuverability. The flatbeds used by our service providers are used to towing heavier and longer vehicles and equipment. They are also designed where they can tow multiple units at a time. This is a cost-saving feature that can double the production for most of our customer accounts. These trucks are ideal for the following jobs: extreme accident recovery and transport, forklift, and equipment transport, unloading vehicles & equipment out of trailers, containers, or storage, vehicles missing wheels, man-lifts, and all-terrain drive vehicles.
